In addition to the standard remote control that came with the system, this is a USB-serial port based device.
The EuroDomest system was sold by the Action chain of shops some years ago. It uses protocol 1 (the default). This impementation uses an Arduino Nano and a 433Mhz RF Transmitter Board (cheap from China). Other cheap 433 MHz based remote comtrol sets could use different commands, so get the receiver module too.
Connecting the board requires three wires; ground, +5 V and the data line to the transmitter.
The boards should just fit in the box, but make sure no short-circuit occurs. The lid is quite tight, it can be a challente to open it again. My parts were printed with PETG, the more common PLA tends to deform when under pressure.
